"This is the second time I have attended Dani's animal pastel drawing full day workshop. When looking at the amazing realism of her animal art, human portraits, figurative art, I was drawn into her world of realism art. I wanted to learn this amazing skill! Dani is also a relaxed person with a wonderful sense of humour. She has the ability to clam me down in by creating a friendly and relaxed environment that inspires me and drives my passion in pastel painting. She has a sharp eye in all facets of composition, value, tone and also micro but important details. She is able to point out simple corrections which have a profound impact on the final message contained within the artwork. This is a reflection of the depth in her experience in art. She manages her workshop sessions impeccably. For a full day workshop, she will allocate time for learning the most important techniques then other sessions for to consolidate. Her lectures and demonstrations are informative and clear. She gives each and every person in her classes tips and advice based on their learning preference and expertise. I have significantly benefited from her sessions and continue to build on my skill set. I recently won a number of art prizes, which I dedicate to her incredible skill as an art tutor. Clover: My daughter lost her beloved cat recently so I commissioned Dani to do a portrait from a photo we had. It was the most spectacular piece of art I had ever seen. Dani’s ability to capture the essence of our pet was astonishing. I gave the beautifully framed original to my daughter as a birthday present and there were floods of very happy tears. It has become a treasured memento of a treasured pet. I cannot recommend Dani’s work highly enough.
Bella: My sister adored her dog in a way it is hard to describe. That dog was her constant companion, slept under her bed every night and followed her everywhere. When she died suddenly of kidney failure my sister was heartbroken. Dani produced an absolutely magnificent portrait. It is a stunning piece of work. It now sits in pride of place above my sister’s fireplace and is a constant reminder of years of happiness, love and devotion. She smiles every time she sees it. If you loved your pet, you will love a portrait by Dani.
